It's a week of theatre and art

It's been a busy old week at Sutherland House School as everyone returned after the half-term holidays.
One of the highlights of the week was a visit from Bamboozle Theatre Company. The company regularly visits the school and it is a firm favourite with students as they always get the chance to interact with the actors during the performance. It creates a wonderful sensory and communicative experience for them.
This week has also seen the students get creative as special sessions have been held in art class, giving youngsters the opportunity to make ceramic poppies in time for Remembrance Day.
The poppies were based on the public art installation ‘Blood Swept Lands and Sea of Red,’ which was created in the Tower of London moat in 2014.
